Frequency Based Discount

Modified on Sat, 23 Dec, 2023 at 8:23 PM

You can provide a discount to your customers based on the number of appointments they book in a week for a particular service. To use the frequency-based discount, edit an existing service

When you click to edit a service, you can find a tab with 'Frequency Based Discount' click on it to add the criteria i.e; the number of appointments in a week and discounted price for the same.

Example: If customer A book 3 appointments with you in a week and customer B books 6 appointments, you can provide more discount to customer B compared to customer A based on the appointment frequency

How to navigate: Settings > Service List > Service Name > Frequency Based Discount Tab

You can find an option '+ Add Tier' on the top right corner which means you can define different discount prices based on the number of appointments your customers book with you in a week.

Example: Let's say your standard service price is $20. If a customer books a total of 3 appointments with you in a week, the service price per appointment will be $18, and if they book 6 appointments in a week, the service price will be $16 for each service.

Here are a few things to keep in mind regarding the frequency-based discount:

  1. If you have applied custom price for a customer, it'll choose the lowest price comparing between frequency discount and custom price and an invoice will be generated based on that
  2. Frequency-based discount doesn't affect your staff pay, paystub will be created based on the standard service price.
  3. If you have a customer discount applied for a customer then the discount(s) will be added on top of the frequency discount price while generating the invoice.
